Believe it or not, employers and professional colleagues are searching for you online. And most of them use LinkedIn, one of the preferred networks for recruiters and industry experts. At this workshop, you will learn the basics of creating a strategic LinkedIn profile that can set you apart from other professionals. We will cover LinkedIn basics, branding strategies, building your network and researching employers and/or opportunities. At the end of the session, you will have the skills necessary to use LinkedIn to establish a professional online brand that will get noticed. In addition to LinkedIn, we will look at other social media formats such as Facebook, Google+, Twitter and Pinterest.
