If you want to sustain Lean it’s not the tools that are going to do it – it’s the creation of a culture.
So many of you have asked, “How do we create this culture?” As a leader, “What works, and what doesn’t work?”
To help answer these questions, instructor Tom Fabrizio has teamed up with several very accomplished people to create a breakthrough approach to Lean Leadership – one that draws on the experience of the Toyota Production System and many others. That six-course non-credit program will be offered beginning in Spring of 2015 at CEPE.
On November 6 we are offering a free overview of our Lean Leadership approach.
You’ll learn the basic approach and be able to discuss challenges you’ve been having with leaders from a broad range of industries, including manufacturing, banking, healthcare, and government. It promises to be informative, entertaining, and ground-breaking. Some of the topics to be covered:
Lean Thinking: A correct way of thinking about Lean and a discussion of some of the myths and misconceptions that have developed about Lean.
Hoshin Kanri: An interactive system of strategic planning, standardization, continuous improvement, and accountability.
Toyota Kata: The DNA of Kaizen. Developing an improvement culture, improvement habits, and coaching skills for daily problem solving.
Lean Daily Management: Standard Work for Leaders, Daily Huddles, Visual Systems, Gemba, and more.
Authentic Leadership: Skills and a practice for self-mastery.
This workshop will give you a road map on how to develop Leadership for Lean in your organization. But perhaps even better, it will give you a platform to learn more about yourself as a leader.
