ABOUT ABOUT

Facilitated by Tom Fabrizio.

Many organizations struggle to implement Lean. Even when they pour their energy into Lean tools, they don't get the desired results. That’s because Lean is less about tools and more about behavior–it’s the creation of a culture.

Participants in this interactive workshop will be introduced to a 10-step approach to creating and sustaining just such a culture—one that has been tested and refined for more than 35 years in a number of industries, including manufacturing, government, and healthcare. Additionally, attendees will discuss leadership and specific tools like Kaizen, Standardized Work, and the 5S System.

Using a learning-through-dialogue format, similar to the World Café method, several rounds of small-group conversations help participants to pool their collective expertise. This arrangement allows each person to share and find solutions to real-life challenges specific to their work.
