This career fair is for students majoring in finance and accounting. Employers will be recruiting only for these positions, and would like to meet highly motivated PSU students who have cultivated these skills.
Examples of career areas: Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, Asset Management, Commercial Banking, Corporate Accounting and Public Accounting.
Do you want to get a great job or internship out of this event? Here are tips to make it happen:
1) Dress in formal professional business attire, since you'll be making a first impression that could lead to an interview. If you have a permanent nametag, wearing it will make it easier to remember your name. (Or use the adhesive one we supply.)
2) Students who are determined to land a great position will schedule a career advisor meeting well in advance to practice mock interviews and polish their resume.
3) Bring printed copies of your new-and-improved resume.
4) Remember to smile when you talk to employers!
Would you like an opportunity to spend a few minutes of extra face time with an employer? Student volunteers with push carts will be present at the parking garage an hour before the event, to assist employers with unloading their materials and to walk them to the fair.
