Join Portland State University's Center for Real Estate this winter as we aim to bring together executives from Portland's commercial real estate market for an academic study of Portland's real estate community through the past, present and future perspectives, with an eye toward creating a more equitable and just future.
This invite-only webinar series for owners and managers from Portland's leading commercial real estate firms looks to localize the diversity, equity and inclusion conversation, providing an academic approach to understanding the state of racial and social equity in the real estate industry.
Why Attend?
As the global CRE industry continues to grow in complexity and diversity, it is imperative that organizations reflect the clients they serve. The case for establishing a diverse workforce grows more compelling each year, yet the lack of diversity in the Portland CRE market, coupled with Oregon's racial history, make it challenging to recruit and retain diverse talent. PSU's Center for Real Estate aims to bring together leaders from the Portland CRE market for a dialogue about the challenges in creating a more diverse real estate industry, with the intention to spawn new initiatives and steps for action for leaders to work both individually and collectively toward a more diverse and equitable industry.
