- Reyna Gillet, Organizer, Neighborhood Partnerships
Out hosts for evening will be:
- Miles Allen, Associate Director of Partnership at Friends of the Children
- Gavin D'Avanther, Senior Business Advisor, Livelihood NW
Portland is at a pivotal moment in its urban growth. We have an opportunity — if we take urgent action — to be an example to other cities in ethically addressing gentrification and displacement. How can developers and business owners balance financial opportunity with public need to change the way we approach urban growth and development? Join us for a conversation with industry leaders about the future of housing, development and real estate.
Free for members of the LGBTQ community, suggested donation of $7–10 for allies. All donations will go directly toward the Out in Business Scholarship Fund.
This is the third annual Open for Business, co-hosted by The School of Business and Queer Resource Center at Portland State University. Part of Portland State of Mind, PSU's annual festival of knowledge and culture.
